Nothing pairs better with a margarita than sunshine and here in St. Pete we’ve got both covered. With not one but TWO massive tequila libraries in the heart of downtown (we’re looking at you Red Mesa Cantina and Tequila Daisy), this city is a tequila lover’s dream. Here’s a roundup of a few of our favorite margaritas in town. Where’s yours?

A cult fave on 4th Street South, Nueva Cantina is known for its modern takes on classic Mexican dishes. Their Caliente Picante margarita with jalapeño and mango puree is a must-try.

Red Mesa Cantina

📍 128 3rd St S
With more than 400 tequilas and 100+ mezcals, this St. Pete gem is one of our go-to’s for a mean margarita. Their house margarita is a staple but the El Jefe is our choice when we’re looking for something spicier.

Tequila Daisy

📍 120 1st Ave N
Downtown’s largest tequila library with over 500 tequilas and agave-based spirits. Making it one of the biggest tequila bars in the United States.

📍 10625 Gulf Blvd, Treasure Island
A St. Pete (beaches) staple. The OG VIP Mexican has been around since the 70s and it’s a landmark in the area. They make a SOLID margarita and the Nachos Supreme and Pork Belly Tacos are a go-to.
