Each June, landmarks and businesses across the Sunshine City light up in beautiful rainbow colors for PRIDE month. There’s a bit of controversy this year that the Sunshine Skyway Bridge won’t be illuminated in rainbow colors as it has in previous years. This news did inpire a great Chad Mize design that you can see here. While that news is disappointing, myriad spots across St. Pete have committed to showing their PRIDE.
Here’s the message from St. Pete Pride: “Join us in participating in the 5th anniversary of “Light Up With PRIDE – St. Pete”. Help us recognize LGBTQ Pride Month this year as we celebrate the 22nd Anniversary of St. Pete Pride.”
