Creative designer and retail boutique owner Sara Stonecipher opened MISRED Outfitters (615 Central Avenue) in 2010 as a "Buy, Sell, Trade" shop for designer, vintage and one-of-a-kind clothing, and for pieces from her own Reconstructed line.

MISRED quickly became one of downtown St. Pete's most popular clothing stores, winning Creative Loafing's Best of the Bay award two years in a row.
“Our process is more than just up-cycling. It is converting America’s surplus materials into fashion forward designs of environmental sustainability. No fabric left behind!” says Sara.
Her new BLACK LABEL line creates original pieces constructed by sourcing salvaged clothing and materials from around the world. Its aesthetic is inspired by the 1970's Bohemian icons whose chic, effortless style will forever transcend time.
The locally produced line will debut with eight distinctive silhouettes, offered in a variety of original patterns as well as a collection of one-of-a-kind hand bags.
MISRED will launch the sustainable BLACK LABEL line with over 300 pieces and debut their new online store on Saturday February 9th, 2013 from 6-9pm at their production space in the K. Hendrix Gallery at 531 Central Ave St. Petersburg, Florida. Complimentary tickets to this event are available at www.misredblacklabel.eventbrite.com
