School is back in session, which means weekends are all about playing with the kids. With perfect timing, perhaps the biggest family-friendly festival in Tampa Bay is coming to the area with the Suncoast Kid’s Extravaganza taking place this weekend in England Brothers Park on Sunday, September 1 from 10 am – 5 pm.
The sprawling festival is the perfect afternoon for kids and the whole family, as the gigantic park will be overflowing with activities for all ages. Highlights include tons of inflatable bounce houses and slides, pony rides, face painting, interactive games, slides, and live entertainment. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers Street Team will be on hand, as well, offering giveaways and meet-and-greets.
Adults get in free and parking at the park is complimentary. Kid’s “Play All Day” passes are $15 in advance ($20 at the door) and include unlimited access to everything: all games, bounce houses, activities, slides, pony rides, the works. Tickets are available at a discount in advance, and will also be available at the gate on September 1.
The Suncoast Kid’s Extravaganza will also feature an excellent array of local food trucks and other food and drink vendors, making sure kids and parents alike stay fed throughout the experience. There will also be giveaways all afternoon from local sponsors.
The festival also takes place alongside the weekly Sunday Market in the Park, which brings more than 80 local vendors to England Brothers Park each Sunday from 10 am – 2 pm, with extended hours for the extravaganza. The popular market features fresh produce, baked goods, local artisans, and much more.
