Get ready to take a trip back in time as the annual Tarpon Springs Hippie Fest returns to the iconic Sponge Docks. This beloved local event is a perfect excuse for a day trip from St. Pete, offering a nostalgic experience that’s uniquely Tarpon Springs. It’s set for August 17 from 2pm-9pm at 750 Dodecanese Blvd.

One of the main highlights is the VW Bug and Van Show, a must-see for car enthusiasts and those who love a bit of retro charm. If you’ve been practicing your hula hoop skills since childhood, now’s your chance to show them off in the hula hoop contest.
