July 27, better known as 727 Day, has gone from a niche quirk of the calendar to perhaps the biggest unofficial holiday in Pinellas County. As a special ‘thank you’ to all St. Pete and Pinellas County residents, the 2026 version will be the biggest Pinellas-wide celebration of 727 Day ever, with more than 100 local businesses offering specials, discounts and freebies as part of three days of festivities, running Saturday-Monday, July 25-27
727 is, of course, the area code for Pinellas County, and its corresponding date on the calendar offers the perfect excuse to revel in all the things we love about our home. From world-class museums and award-winning craft breweries to Michelin-recommended restaurants, picturesque beach resorts and more, there is plenty worth celebrating and experiencing every day in our little slice of paradise. 727 Day is just an extra excuse to do so.

There is only one requirement to join the party: you have to use the 727 Day Passport. Luckily, that’s quite simple – there’s not even an app or download. Just head to the 727 Day website here, scroll down to the passport signup button, and it will direct you to set yours up in your web browser, free of charge. From there, just show your passport to any of the 100-plus businesses to redeem your discounts. A handful of the specials can also be redeemed online, which will be linked through your passport.
Just using the passport gets you points toward a free 727 Day tees designed by famed local artist Clancy Riehm.
We should also add one important note for 2026: the celebrations (and deals) take place the full weekend of Saturday-Monday, July 25-27. Non event-specific discounts can be redeemed on any day of the 727 Day weekend.
Deep discounts and big events for 727 Day
With more than 100 discounts available (130, if we’re counting correctly), we’ll hold off on listing them all. We’ll share a few of our favorites below, though, such as $7.27 drink specials, $7.27 yoga classes, $7.27 off ticket prices, and even BOGO deals throughout Pinellas County.
There are three big events surrounding the action, starting this Sunday with the Tampa Bay Ice Cream Festival at the St. Pete Pier, where Visit SPC will be giving away 1,000 tickets to an upcoming Tampa Bay Rays game. Then, they’ll be giving away free 727 Day T-shirts at the Rays game against the Cleveland Guardians on Saturday, July 25. And finally, on 727 Day proper, Kahwa Coffee will be giving one free small drink per person between the hours of 7:27 am to 8:27 am.
