5801 Print, a local print shop that’s grown in popularity at Mezzo Market in the EDGE District, will open a brick and mortar location at 5725 Central Avenue on July 15. Their work is also available at Knotted Roots and Pineapple Marketplace. The grand opening celebration runs from 1pm-6pm. St. Pete Ferments will provide kombucha and other treats, Nah Dogs will be slinging their vegan goodies, and Imperious 53 will be capturing tin types.

This is a fantastic spot for a new local business. 5801 will be located next door to Webb’s Tattoos and The Crumb Factory in West St. Pete.

You’ll be able to print your own tee during the event, and learn the art of screen printing. You can get a taste of what the “Sunshine City’s Souvenir Alley” has to offer on 5801’s website. Featured items include their “For a Tase of Paradise, Come to Florida” gator girl towel, and the Everglades stamp tee.

“I decided to learn how to screen print when I started my own line and realized how hard it was to find someone that would work with a small business,” writes 5801 owner Alexa on the company’s website. “Here we are, a year later, fortunate to be able to have this as my full time job.”

“Of course I couldn’t do it without the best helpers; my girlfriend who does everything from scheduling to pulling squeegees, and our two dogs.”

The 5801 team loves of all things off the beaten path of vintage Florida. Their gorgeous vintage designs continue to captivate visitors to Mezzo Market and other shops across the ‘Burg, and the new print shop will be a whopping taste of old Florida.
