Legendary St. Pete glassblowing studio, Zen Glass, featured on HGTV’s Rock the Block

Zen Glass Studio, located at 600 27th St S, was featured on HGTV’s hit television show, Rock The Block. Artist owner David Walker represented Zen Glass Studio that aired on April 1, 2024. If you’ve never taken a glassblowing workshop with this studio, please add it to your St. Pete bucket list.

A glassblowing hot spot in the Sunshine City

Zen Glass Studio has captivated shoppers and aspiring glass workers alike with their creations. In addition to operating out of their studio space, the artists behind the concept have popped up at events across the state and put on live demonstrations.

They’ve committed themselves to teaching the craft and art of glassblowing to new generations.

Zen Glass is set to be featured in future episodes, too. The show is currently streaming on Discovery+, Max and other channels. This season of the show has focused on projects in Treasure Island.

Millions of viewers are introduced to Zen Glass in St. Pete

Rock the Block is one of the hottest shows on television, and we were ecstatic to work with the production team and the City of Treasure Island to secure filming in our local community and provide incredible destination exposure for the St. Pete/Clearwater area,” said Lisa Dozois, St. Pete/Clearwater Film Commissioner. “Viewers will see an incredible competition and the beautiful, vibrant community we get to live, work and play in every day.
