In response to the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene, Winn-Dixie, alongside the Winn-Dixie Gives Foundation, is stepping up to support local communities. On Wednesday, October 2, the grocery chain will distribute free water, ice, food, and cleaning essentials to over 500 residents affected by the storm.

The distribution event will take place in the parking lot of the Madeira Beach Winn-Dixie, located at 15200 Municipal Drive. Starting at 10am, both drive-thru and walk-up services will be available for those in need. Supplies will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis until they run out.

Winn-Dixie has long been dedicated to helping its neighbors in times of crisis. With strong ties to the community, the company is committed to playing a vital role in recovery and rebuilding efforts following Hurricane Helene.
