In October of 2021, we reported that Wild Fork Foods, a Miami-based meat-and-seafood market, was coming to St. Pete. Having passed by the “coming soon” signs for nearly a year and a half since, the celebrated market has finally broken ground on 4th Street and 29th Avenue in St. Pete.

Wild Fork Foods is known for its commitment to sourcing premium quality beef from the slow feeders of Nebraska and Colorado, regions renowned for producing some of the finest cattle globally due to their cold climates and lush grasslands.
The St. Pete location is part of a broader plan for the Florida-based brand to expand to states across the country and Canada.
Inside Wild Fork, innovation meets tradition, as the company employs blast-freezing technology to lock in peak freshness, freezing meats. This method, coupled with maintaining frozen temperatures throughout the supply chain, ensures that customers receive products of unparalleled quality. Wild Fork also focuses on the importance of aging, allowing their beef to mature in a climate-controlled environment for 17 days, and their pork for a minimum of 8 days, to enhance both flavor and tenderness.
Wild Fork expands across the country
The introduction of the St. Pete store is a landmark event of Wild Fork Foods’ growth into multiple brick-and-mortar locations as well as expanding e-commerce options.
As Wild Fork Foods breaks ground on their long-awaited 4th street location in St. Pete, the brand continues to redefine the shopping experience, blending in-store shopping, pickup, and same-day delivery services. Wild Fork stands out in the marketplace for its unique model, combining elements of a traditional grocery store with those of a specialty retailer. This approach emphasizes customer service, quality, and a variety of offerings available at competitive prices.
