Wendy’s Closet is one of the best thrift stores in all of Tampa Bay, and it’s expanding with a second shop on Central Avenue.
Wendy’s was a staple of the beloved Wagon Wheel Flea Market. After the Wagon Wheel closed, Wendy’s made its move to the Grand Central District at 2107 Central Avenue.

The shop is replete with vintage finds, leather jackets, boots and sneakers, and every kind of graphic tee you could ever desire. The owner recently teased a pair of Dr. Martens and a Carrhart jacket that I’m dying to take home.
Good buys will abound at the newest retail hub. The building itself is wrapped in a vibrant mural by Raw Sol Art, and a giant tie dye “coming soon” sign is there to entice commuters.
Wendy’s Closet’s new location is set to debut at 3001 Central Avenue.
An opening timeline is still TBA. Follow Wendy’s on Facebook and Instagram for updates on their latest fashion finds.
