Ad for Art Fusion Galleries

October 5 – ArtFusion Galleries Grand Opening 

There’s a new art gallery opening in the Sunshine City! ArtFusion is bringing dynamic sculptures and paintings to downtown St. Pete. The vision of the gallery was to provide the opportunity for emerging to mid-career artists from around the globe to exhibit, promote and enter discerning art markets. Most of their artists are available for commission pieces; they are competitively priced and offer art consultative services. The grand opening will take place from 7-11pm. Art Fusion Galleries will be located inside the James Museum Building at 106 Central Avenue.

October 11 — Benise – Fuego 

Back again, Emmy Award-winning composer, Benise, brings the heat with his global tour FUEGO! Join Benise and his Spanish guitar on a musical journey through powerful, yet romantic compositions with Latin flair. The show takes place at 8pm on October 11. Click HERE for tickets. October 19 – Burn: Morean Street Party

Party on the street, in the heart of the eclectic Central Arts District of St. Petersburg, FL and feel the heat! Molten glass, street art and live music surrounds you as you interact with art and artists, sip craft cocktails and enjoy gourmet food. This is an official SHINE Mural Festival event. The event runs from 8pm-midnight on October 19. St. Petersburg Ghost Tours (All Weekend)

Literary Roast of Ernest Hemingway at Studio@620
Local authors, artists, comics and community leaders will lovingly roast the famous author during this literary comedy roast of Ernest Hemingway. Hemingway (portrayed by Matt Walker) will make an appearance that evening. 7-9pm. Tickets are $15. Studio@620, 620 1st Avenue South.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show at The Iberian Rooster

Babette Herschberger’s minimalist compositions emphasize color and surface in both small and large scale. After Hours – An Evening in Paris with Nate Najar at Imagine Museum

International Cinema at Eckerd: Vagabond

The St.Petersburg Punk Legends are back! You know them and you love them and if somehow you don’t…. they sound like a “blender of blues, funk, punk and more…and is a fair audio equivalent to wild flashes of color on a blank canvas wall. Barry Cuda & Rev Billy: Ferrari & Thai Stick at The Palladium

L8 Night Flights presents The Banker at Ichicoro Ane
L8 Night Flights is a weekly Friday and Saturday event dedicated to House and Techno. Held in the Ba Lounge of Ichicoro Ane in downtown St. Petersburg. CareFest Kickoff and Celebration at Lake Vista Park
CareFest volunteers are invited to participate in the CareFest Kickoff and Celebration. Light breakfast will be served. Volunteers then go to their respective project sites and return by 11:30am for lunch and a recognition celebration. CareFest is a festival of service projects running September 21 to October 6 in which volunteers from organizations and individuals adopt projects to help those in need in St. Pete. 8am-noon. Gandy Beach Cleanup with Urban Kai
Brave Ocean and 1 Piece Each have joined forces with Keep Pinellas Beautiful to adopt the shoreline of Gandy Beach. Volunteers should wear closed toe shoes, sun protection and weather appropriate clothing. Cleanup supplies and water will be provided. Please bring your own reusable water bottle. 9:30-11:30am. Memorial Ride Down MLK with St. Pete Bike Co-op
Anne McLaughlin was struck by a man driving an SUV on 09/19/2019. She was riding her bike across a crosswalk with a signal in broad daylight. She died at the scene. Join St. Pete Bike Co-op for a memorial ride for Anne, and for all cyclists and pedestrians who have lost their lives to reckless drivers. In solidarity, riders presence will remind drivers that the streets belong to everyone. Riders are encouraged to wear white. 9-10:30am. Yoga Poolside at The Hollander with The Body Electric

Over the Rainbow Grand Central Challenge Hosted by COME OUT St. Pete

Bourbon Trail Crawl in Downtown St. Pete
The bars in #DTSP have teamed up to save you the 850 mile journey to Bourbon Country. No Human is Illegal – Art Show at Venus Gallery
This is the opening night of No Human is Illegal. The community will come together as a community to raise awareness and funds for immigrants and refugees at Venus Gallery. From September 29th – October 12th Venus will be hosting the pop up art show and benefit No Human is Illegal, addressing the current plight facing immigrant and refugee families crossing the United States border. 5-9pm.
