As The Vinoy approaches its 100th birthday, the celebrated pink hotel is still earning big accolades. In Conde Nast Traveler’s 2022 Readers Choice Awards, St. Pete’s Vinoy Renaissance was named one of the top 15 resorts in Florida, and it was the only Pinellas County resort to crack the top 10.
Readers of Conde Nast Traveler have voted for their favorite hotels and destinations for the last 35 years, capturing the travel experiences that readers love most. This year, The Vinoy claimed the coveted spot of the 10th best hotel in the state.

Of course, this isn’t the first time for The Vinoy to earn such honors. In fact, it is the resort’s fifth such distinction since 2017, proving to be a long time favorite for those traveling to Florida. Overall, The Vinoy earned a 90.99 rating (out of 100) from readers and reviewers.
These awards are actually coming as The Vinoy is in the middle of significant renovations, meaning the historic resort is only going to become more attractive to travelers (and local passersby who enjoy time on the patio). In fact, it’s locals who will first get to experience the upgrades as The Vinoy closes in on finishing its reimagined veranda and lobby, complete with a brand new patisserie.
Construction on the renovation began in the fall of 2021, and is now in its final phases as the big reveal approaches. You can find a full breakdown of the renovations, including a new pool bar and restaurant, in our story here.
