Vettes On The Pier and More

09.02.10

If you are a car enthusiast, especially of Corvettes, then you can’t miss this Saturday’s annual "Vettes on The Pier." Check out some of the classic and new cars on display outside of the Pier courtesy of the Suncoast Corvette Association from 11AM-4PM. The local "Easy Street" band will be playing to get you in the mood and enjoy the show.

And if that’s not your thing, you can always head inside for the "Inventor’s Fair" hosted by the Tampa Bay Inventor’s Council and discover what new and innovative gadgets and contraptions some of our local geniuses have up their sleeves.

And just in case you’re all set to go out as early as Friday:
From 5-7PM, author Tim Dorsey will be our guest for "St Pete Reads", coordinated by students from St. Pete College. The event will be held in the Dockside Activity Room. There will also be TWO drink specials offered by Cha Cha Coconuts – named after Tim Dorsey’s books – "The Electric Barracuda" and the "Nuclear Jellyfish".

Salsa dancing is held Fridays at the Waterside Grill & Bar on the 1st level from 9:15PM to 12:30AM and Cha Cha Coconuts has live music on the 5th level (Thursday through Sunday).
