The Historic Roser Park Neighborhood Association (HRPNA) will host an exciting Tour of Homes event in the gorgeous Roser Park—an early “streetcar suburb”—of St. Petersburg. The tour is on Saturday, March 30, 10am–3pm (check-in no later than 2pm). The event will feature five historic homes, including a Ronald McDonald House that hosts families of children hospitalized at the nearby John Hopkins All Children’s Hospital.
Expect a variety of architectural styles: Mediterranean Revival, Craftsman bungalow, Prairie style, and Arts and Crafts style bungalow. If you attended the last Roser Park Tour of Homes in 2022, you’ll be delighted by a few updates. This year’s tour will feature a wine tasting; a native Florida plant garden has been completed on 8th Ave. S; and renovations are underway to the “outdoor museum”, a series of plaques showing places of interest in the neighborhood.
