The sold out Skyway 10K is this Sunday. This highly anticipated and popular race lets runners enjoy the stellar views on the Skyway Bridge. The caveat, the bridge will be closed to vehicles for the duration of the race.

On Sunday March 1, 2020 from 3:30 am – 11am, I-275 northbound at the Sunshine Skyway Bridge will be closed. This includes the rest areas, and piers. So, if you had some weekend travel plans that include the Skyway, make sure to plan an alternate route, or just hold off getting on the road until after 11am.

To date, the Skyway Bridge Run has raised more than $1.2 million for the Armed Forces Families Foundation in its first two years! One hundred percent of every registration fee dollar goes to fund projects that support the families of our service members.

Race weekend will include an expo day on February 29 (leap day!). This will be held at Lot 7 in the parking lot of Tropicana Field in Downtown St. Petersburg and it’s open to the public. There will be live music, and vendors. Bring your family and friends to this community-wide event to celebrate the Skyway 10K and support military families.
