The government shutdown continues to drag on — and for many citizens the financial hit has been significant. To help ease the burden and provide some relief during the shutdown, local businesses have offered free meals and services to federal workers.

Here’s quick list of businesses in Tampa Bay offering freebies to those affected:

Campanella’s Bar & Grill: The restaurant is offering a free lunch buffet on Thursday, January 24 to workers affected by the government shutdown. Campanella’s, 3580 Ulmerton Road, Clearwater.

CrossFit9: The crossfit epicenter of St. Pete is waiving membership fees for affected members who are federal government employees. They’re also accepting donations of groceries/gift cards. Those who want to make a donation can leave them at 2727 6th Avenue South, St. Petersburg.

Kahwa Coffee: Tampa Bay’s good coffee provider is offering free small cup of drip coffee to government employees affected by the current shutdown. All they need to do is present their ID at any of the Kahwa locations in Tampa Bay. Click here for a location near you.

Florida Orchestra: Furloughed government workers can receive up to 4 complimentary tickets with a valid government ID for this weekend’s concerts only, that’s Jan. 18-20. Come to the TFO Will Call window starting 90 minutes before each performance, present your valid government ID and receive up to 4 complimentary tickets, while supplies last. Concerts will take place at the Straz Center in Tampa and The Mahaffey Theater in St. Pete. Click here for details.

Gigglewaters: The movie theater is offering a free movie ticket and draft beer for all federal workers affected by the shutdown until it ends. Gigglewaters, 737 Main Street, Safety Harbor.

Humane Society of Tampa Bay: The humane society is providing free pet food during their normal business hours for any government worker (verification required) who is not getting paid that needs assistance. Food Distribution is for Tampa Bay citizens who are struggling to feed their pets, they offer free dog and cat food at our shelter every Tuesday from 12pm-3pm and every Saturday from 10am-1pm. Receiving food assistance is on a first come, first serve basis. Humane Society of Tampa Bay, 3607 North Armenia Avenue, Tampa.

Sky Zone: The trampoline park is offering free jumps to federal government workers affected by the shutdown and their immediate families Tuesday through Thursdays through January 31. Sky Zone will also be hosting a food drive with items to be donated to the Feeding Tampa Bay Food Bank. Guests who donate will receive $2 off their jump time Tuesday through Thursday. Tampa International Airport: Feeding Tampa Bay, United Way Suncoast and Hillsborough Area Regional Transit helped Tampa International Airport set up a food bank for the airport’s federal workers. In addition to food, it’s also helping supply toiletries to those workers.  ‘
