Tacos & Tequila Fest returns this May with 30+ food trucks and 12 distilleries

One of St. Pete’s most popular foodie festivals is returning this May, bringing two days of authentic tacos, premium margaritas and great live music to Vinoy Park. The St Pete Tacos & Tequila Festival makes its grand return on Friday, May 10 and Saturday, May 11, this year featuring more than 30 taco vendors, 10 different distilleries, a slew of great margaritas and other cocktails, tons of beer, live music, games, and more.

For a limited time, get 50% off Friday VIP tickets and Saturday VIP tickets through I Love the Burg. VIP Matador Tickets ($39 in advance, $45 day of, or $20 through I Love the Burg) come with exclusive access to the inaugural Margarita Battle, as well as the Matador Cantina Area with extra amenities, unlimited beer and spirit samples from more than a dozen distilleries and breweries, a private tent area with tables, private restrooms, front row seating at the stage, and an additional private beer and cocktail bar.

General Admission tickets to Tacos & Tequila Festival ($7 in advance, $10 day of) earn full admission to all the festivities, allowing attendees to purchase from any vendors and enjoy music throughout the day.

Hosted by Brewed Life, this is one of Tampa Bay’s largest taco and tequila festivals at one of the most beautiful waterfront parks around. Friday’s festivities run from 4-10 pm, while Saturday’s take place 12-8 pm.

The annual gathering of taco-centric food trucks and restaurants is unrivaled in the region, with an incredible lineup of great dishes coming to Vinoy Park. The stacked list includes favorites like Los Homies Taqueria, Johnny Nevada’s, Tacos Mi Rancho, Fui Yo Mexicana, Quiero Mas Tacos, and Hail Mary’s Tacos n Tingz.

The festival will also feature delicious seafood from The Happy Snapper, authentic street corn from El Roy’s Elotes, “Red Tacos” from Entre Fuegos, and plenty of ice cream, donuts, Italian ice and other tasty sweets. The full list of vendors can be found here.

In addition to global brands like Casa Azul and Cointreau, local stars like Preez Distillery, 3 Daughters Brewing, and Mr. Tom’s Spirits will be among the double-digit distilleries and breweries showcasing their spirits and beers. St. Pete Tacos & Tequila Fest also serves as an excellent opportunity to try TIDE Amplified Tea, the new St. Pete-based functional canned tea that has had people sending in rave reviews.
