Sunshine City Colors is a locally-owned and operated business that crafts custom crayons, and outdoor chalk — and all of their designs are available to order online. 

At the start of the pandemic, a wonderful trend of chalk art on sidewalks took over the Sunshine City. Messages of love, hope, and kindness could be seen and read while walking through Historic Kenwood, Historic Old Northeast, Old Southeast and beyond.

One local company, Sunshine City Colors, crafts the most delightful crayons and chalk pieces and it’s so worth celebrating. Their designs range from fun dinosaurs and unicorns, to butterflies, stars, roses and LEGO figures.

All of Sunshine City Color’s creations are available to order online. As the summer approaches, I can’t think of an item more delightful to have at your disposal than some jumbo chalk. These also make the perfect locally crafted gift.
