During one of the hottest summers in years, the City of St. Pete stepped up big time to serve local youth during the break from school. As the City transitions from summer youth programming into back-to-school mode, they shared some incredible numbers demonstrating the impact of their programs over the last three months.
From swim lessons and nature camps, to reading programs and meals offered through Summer Break Spot, tens of thousands of youth and families across St. Petersburg were impacted by the numerous programs and resources offered by the City. The City provided the following services and programs to youth and families this summer:

With the return-to-school transition underway, the City of St. Petersburg’s year-round public pools have resumed their regular operating hours. Before- and after-school care is also starting soon, and registration is now open. Learn more at stpeteparksrec.org.
