Gelato kind of just makes things better. A new handcrafted concept is popping up in St. Petersburg to brighten our days and our freezers. Studio Gelato has delighted at local events like Charlie Parker Pottery’s Sangria Fest, and the Holiday Makers Market. The ice cream makers are now taking orders for $8 pints with free delivery.

Flavors include Strawberry; Dark chocolate sea salt; and Salted caramel. Studio Gelato is taking orders today through Friday, April 17 at noon. Delivery will begin this Saturday, April 18 at noon in the St. Pete/North Pinellas area. Orders can be placed online.

Gabriella Schmid and Bo Countryman are the artists behind the concept. The pair share a love for handcrafted gelato and the ceramics they serve the treat in.

“We believe art can be expressed through pairing handmade tableware and our homemade gelato” write the owners on the Studio Gelato website.

The longtime St. Pete staple Sweet Divas is open takeout and delivery. The concept offers a variety of chocolates and candies, in addition to delicious handmade ice creams on hand.
