St. Pete to host inaugural Look Up light ceremony, a tribute to those lost on 9/11

St. Pete to host inaugural Look Up light ceremony, a tribute to those lost on 9/11

Rendering of tall skylights over a downtown skyline
On Friday, September 11, St. Petersburg will host its inaugural Look Up tribute. This will be a light tribute to all those lost and affected by 9/11 as a remembrance. This event represents a partnership between Remember Honor Support, Inc., StartupStreet, and Realty One Group Sunshine
At approximately 9:11pm the group will be shining two large Skytracker lights into the sky from opposite ends of the parking lot at the St. Pete Coliseum as a remembrance of that tragic day.
The lights will be in the sky until midnight and should be viewable from most of the downtown St Pete area.
Officials ask all those that see them to post on their accounts with the hashtag #lookup and #neverforget as a sign of solidarity if you happen to see the lights. The event will be livestreamed on the Remember Honor Support Facebook page and the local community is welcome to drive by as a sign of support.
