Men’s Health and Women’s Health magazines both ranked St. Petersburg, Florida among the 10 worst cities in terms of health. The city was in 95th place for men and 93rd for women based on 30 criteria which include cost of living, cancer rates, life expectancy, healthy eating and exercise habits.
What’s worse, Tampa ranks better for both gender at 77th place for men and 79th for women. St. Petersburg was the only city in Florida that actually made it into the 10 worst. Other cities include: St. Louis, Toledo, Detroit and Philadelphia. Among the top 10 best cities for health are Fargo, Plano, and San Jose.
