Bartenders get your shakers, strainers and muddlers ready. Kicking off Dine Tampa Bay’s Restaurant Week in August is the Sip n’ Sizzle Cocktail Competition.
The competition will be held at The Birchwood historic hotel on Beach Dr. A panel of judges including Jeff Houck, Stacie Schaible, Wayne Atherholt of the Morean Arts Center and iLovetheBurg.com‘s Brian Bailey will determine the winning cocktail. The mixologists competing are locals, hailing from Tryst Gastro Lounge, Donatello, Anise Global Gastropub, Crabby Bill’s Seafood and SideBern’s.

Dine Tampa Bay’s Restaurant Week features a prix-fixe menu at each participating restaurant. Meals start at just $25 per person which includes appetizer, entree and dessert. This gives diners the opportunity to try restaurants they may have thought were out of their price range. The list of ‘Burg restaurants participating is available here.
