Salad-centric concept, Greenstock, soft opens on Central Avenue

That wait is over folks. I’ve been drooling over the Greenstock concept since it was first announced. David and Erica Benstock, the brilliant culinary mind behind Il Ritorno, along with the prolific dream makers Pete Boyd, owner of Boyd Construction, and Brooke Boyd, owner of Hype Group, have opened a restaurant for health nuts and foodies alike.

The menu features chef-inspired salads in a fast casual environment. Located at 449 Central Avenue, Greenstock is on an emerging 400 Block that features the likes of Iberian Rooster, IceBurg, the forthcoming Chick’nCone, Lonni’s and more.

The restaurant will feature fresh produce and high quality proteins. We expect no less from this group of Tampa Bay creative powerhouses.

Here’s a few teases of what you’ll find on the menu:

Sweet Tooth – Baby arugula, spinach, strawberries, feta, apples, feta/goat cheese, sunflower seeds, tomato, figs, balsamic vinaigrette.

Power Greens – Pea shoots, baby kale, sweet potato, beets, cabbage, quinoa, sunflower seeds, tomatoes, feta, balsamic vinaigrette.

Spicy Miso Crunch – Baby arugula, greenstock blend, carrots, cucumber, edamame, shaved brussels, crispy wasabi peas, miso ginger.

Chef curated salads range from $9-$13. If you’re more of a “choose your own adventure” type, you can crate your own bowl from a massive list of proteins, fresh greens, dressings, seeds, and premium toppings.

Soft opening hours are 11am-8pm daily.

Greenstock will be closed Sunday, December 15 and Sunday, December 22.
The Benstocks are also opening a new Italian restaurant at Sparkman Wharf in Tampa in 2020.
Who’s hungry for a chef-inspired salad?
