Tampa Bay is ready to take flight with the top 34 teams selected for Red Bull Flugtag Tampa 2024. Announced during a buzzing event at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, these teams will launch their imaginative flying machines off a 27-foot platform on November 9 at the Tampa Convention Center.
With over 200 applications, nearly all of the chosen teams are local, including college groups from the University of South Florida, Embry-Riddle, and Florida Atlantic University. Among the standout competitors are the Fantastic Flying Legends of Wrestling (two-time champions) and the popular YouTube creators, JoogSquad.

Paying homage to the history of flight at the Flugtag
Representing Tampa’s own community spirit, I Love the ‘Burg and That’s So Tampa will be competing as “The Benoist Brawlers.” Expect creative designs and exciting themes, from wrestling legends to college mascots.
