Many officials, and residents in the county have called for expanded testing. An expansion could assist with wider contact tracing, and help those most at risk of contracting/spreading the coronavirus. On May 4, Pinellas County Government announced testing for all.
Community Health Centers of Pinellas is offering COVID-19 testing at no cost to residents. You do not need to be a CHC patient. However a condensed electronic registration will be required at the location. The testing sites will provide same day walk-ups and drive ups, but appointments are recommended to decrease wait times. You can make an appointment by calling 727-824-8181 and selecting option 0.

You can visit a testing site Monday through Friday, 10am-3pm at the following locations:

This drive-thru testing is available to everyone with or without symptoms. Follow the Pinellas County Government on Facebook for continuous updates regarding COVID-19.
Hillsborough County enacted similar measures in previous weeks to bolster its testing capacity.

The government is also coordinating efforts to get vital resources to our first responders and healthcare providers.
Due to the critical need for personal protective equipment and disinfectants, the County is coordinating ten donation sites at local fire stations and nonprofits that will operate this week Monday through Friday from 8am-noon.

Supplies will be delivered to local hospitals, long-term care facilities, and first responders to ensure their safety as they take care of our community.
