Pei Wei Opens, BurgerMonger Coming Soon

Pei Wei, a quick and casual dine-in and to-go restaurant, has officially opened at 1345 4th Street North. The restaurant features classic Asian cuisine with inspiration from the street markets of Thailand, along with Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese recipes.

The restaurant has locations all across the country, including one on 66th Street North in St. Pete. Their latest opening in the Burg adds to the growing list of quick lunch options for those who work downtown. It doesn't hurt that the plaza, which also houses AT&T and the soon to open Burger Monger features roughly 100 parking spots in the back. You can order your food online for pick up to further expedite the process.

The menu features vegan and gluten free options as well. Pei Wei is open 11am to 9pm Sunday through Thursday, and 11am to 10pm Friday and Saturday.

 

 

 

Burger Monger, the popular burger spot that began in Tampa in 2010, hopes to open its 6th restaurant on April 25. The 2,700 square foot restaurant, neighboring Pei Wei on 1325 4th Street North, will also feature 35 additional seats on an outdoor patio area.

Jake Hickton, one of the partners at Burger Monger, worked his way through the food industry at high-end restaurants when he was younger. He's helped cultivate an atmosphere that is informal and casual, which is juxtaposed by the meticulously crafted dishe. Burger Monger uses fresh, hormone-free beef and fresh, natural ingredients to ensure the highest quality dining experience. Their thick fries are hand-cut and cooked in natural beef tallow, which underscores their salty splendor.

The burgers are made from tender Akaushi beef, typically served in high-end steakhouses. Gluten-free diners can rejoice because Burger Monger makes gluten-free buns daily, along with their savory challah bread buns. Burger Monger will also begin wine program that features 20 bottles priced at $20 each. They'll also expand their craft beer offerings for the St. Pete community.

Burger Monger's hand spun shakes are the perfect remedy to the early summer heat in St. Pete. They're made with heaping scoops of Haagen Dazs Ice cream.

A true American classic also finds a home at Burger Monger, their natural Akauishi beef hot dogs pay homage to the iconic Chicago dog. Once open, Burger Monger will certainly elevate and enliven the lunch scene in St. Pete, and provide a solid alternative to downtown dining on the weekends. They'll be hosting a job fair from April 11-16. Applicant can apply in person at their 4th Street location from 10am-2pm, and 4-7pm.
