New Crepe Bus To Open September

Savoring La Creperia in September

Not quite open yet, but Chef Dino tells iLovetheBurg that his second La Creperia Cafeshould be ready to serve its St. Pete patrons by the first week of September at 2901 Central Ave.

As some may know, La Creperia’s first location is in Ybor City in Tampa and has been a favorite by locals for 8 years now. Chef Dino, a Greek from Paris where he perfected the art of crepe making, will specialize in sweet and savory crepes, salads and all kinds of coffee, hot and cold, in this new St. Pete location which will similarly work like Taco Bus just down the street on Central Ave.

If you’ve passed by the location, a big shiny airstream is parked which will serve as the restaurant’s kitchen (yes, just like how Taco Bus has its bus!) and will have both indoor and patio seating.

La Creperia will boast of over 70 different crepes including whole wheat savory crepes to vegetarian options and whole and white wheat floured sweet crepes. That’s a lot of crepes to try out.

Bienvenue a St. Pete, La Creperia!

And while you’re waiting on La Creperia to open, you can try the newly-opened La V Fusion! Downtown St. Pete’s first authentic Vietnamese fusion restaurant opened its doors at 441 Central Avenue a couple of days ago, offering up savory noodles, soups, salads, sandwiches, entrees and tasty appetizers. Also available is a huge selection of smoothies and bubble tea along with beer and wine.

This is what makes us very excited about trying out La V Fusion. According to their website:

La V is the promise of our fresh ingredients, minimal use of grease, resting on herbs and vegetables to enhance your quality of life, simplify everyday motion, and provide lasting value. La V concept is very simple: “however we make our food at home, that’s what we will be serving you.”

Can’t wait to try the pho and banh mi!!!
