A COVID-19 testing center has opened at The Mahaffey Theater (400 1st Street South). All tests are free and available on a first come, first serve basis.

This is a drive thru only testing site, with a limit of 4 people per vehicle. The facility is open from Tuesday-Saturday, 11am-7pm.
In late June, a drive-thru testing site opened at Tropicana Field, and demand was huge. On opening day the site ran out of tests in just a few hours. This new testing site at The Mahaffey will hopefully ease that burden and allow more residents to get tested in a timely and safe fashion.
Testing is also available at Johnnie Ruth Clarke (1344 22nd St S) Monday through Friday from 7am-noon.

The Johnnie Ruth Clarke facility accepts drive-ups and walk-ins, but they highly recommend scheduling an appointment by calling 727-824-8181 and selecting option 0, or requesting an appointment online here.
