Metro Inclusive Health is changing the face of community-based healthcare

Metro Inclusive Health is changing the face of community-based healthcare. The St. Petersburg-based non-profits’ “Copay it Forward” program makes health care services available to more of our community.

With over 100 health and wellness services offered in a state-of-the-art and high-tech facility, insured patients that use METRO for their primary care and prescriptions are in turn making it possible serve un or underinsured patients.

Just by walking through the door at one of their four Tampa Bay locations, and at no extra cost to them outside of their normal copay, insured patients make it possible for METRO to provide services at a steeply discounted rate, or even for free, to uninsured patients.

Focused largely on care for the LGBTQ+ community and their allies, in 2018 METRO’s services touched 18,204 people directly and another 8,874 through outreach for a total of 27,078 lives impacted.
