St. Pete artist Mark Noll, known for his eco-friendly jewelry and sculptures, passed away last week at his home. Noll was 60 years old. The community will come together on Tuesday, July 18 at Softwater Studios (515 22nd St S Unit F) to celebrate the life and work of Noll.
Many will remember Noll from his booth at the St. Pete Saturday Morning Market. Outside of his jewelry, Noll was admired for his miniature wooden sculptures – and his iconic carved violins. The artist was known to use a microscope to meticulously craft his famous mini skulls, an aesthetic inspired by Dia De Los Muertos.
