Anthony David is a celebrated singer-songwriter who performs in sold-out venues around the world and has achieved international recognition over the course of his career. He is acclaimed for both his single, “4Evermore,” that features Algebra and Phonte, as well as songs written on India.Arie’s 7x GRAMMY nominated recording Acoustic Soul.

J. Brown has entertained audiences from North America to Asia with a blend of high energy and sultry performances, and since 2018, he has amassed five top 15 Billboard singles, three of which hit the top 10 lists. His 2022 Single, “Don’t Rush,” recently hit #11 on the charts and is still climbing.

Also performing is LIVE ON CENTRAL’s show producer and host, Alex Harris. His Top 30 Billboard hit single, ‘Falling for You,’ was recognized in USA Today’s Top 40 R&B/Soul singles in all North America. Harris serves emcee for the intimate music series.

Hosted by Alex Harris, LIVE ON CENTRAL offers a new take and personality on St. Pete’s music scene, showcasing local talent while also bringing in nationally and globally recognized acts. The series made its debut this summer when it welcomed legendary jazz and soul artist Gregory Porter to The Floridian.

“LIVE ON CENTRAL is more than a live music series,” Harris said. “It is the beginning of a new era for live music concerts in our eclectic funky artistic community.”

LIVE ON CENTRAL aims to amplify a part of the Burg’s artistic culture in a way it has not been promoted or celebrated – giving St. Petersburg its own live music cultural identity in the global music market. The unique and intimate series allows the audience to experience some of St. Pete’s local “raw talents,” while also engaging with featured performing artists in an intimate
and inspiring environment.

The LIVE ON CENTRAL music series not only celebrates and amplifies a unique live music experience for its attendees, but also benefits the Arts Conservatory for Teens’ Creative Workforce Development programming for pre-professionals in the local community, a local nonprofit organization connecting youth to the performing arts.
