Happy holidays, Pinellas County! Largo Central Park transforms into a festive wonderland this season as the Holiday Lights and Carnival Rides celebration returns from November 28 to December 29. Presented by the City of Largo, this free event features over 2.5 million shining ED lights, creating a magical display perfect for a family-friendly night out.

Visitors can stroll through illuminated pathways, surrounded by dazzling lights that bring the holiday spirit to life. Dogs are welcome as long as they’re leashed, so even furry friends can enjoy the festive atmosphere. Please note this is a walking tour only—golf carts, electric bikes, and motorized vehicles are not allowed.

Illuminated carnival rides to celebrate the season

The carnival rides add extra fun, with a classic carousel and Ferris wheel open for all. Carousel riders must be at least 36 inches tall, while children between 36 and 56 inches can enjoy the Ferris wheel with an adult. Tickets are $6 per ride or $50 for 10 rides, with attractions closing at 10 p.m. nightly.

Local vendors will offer tasty treats and unique items, so you can snack and shop as you soak in the lights.
