Join the St. Pete (Socially-Distanced) Supper Club Today!

Our newly launched St. Pete Supper Club has nearly reached 1,000 members! The mission is to support our locally-owned and operated restaurants through this difficult time while providing locals a fun place to share their favorite meals. New Wine and Coffee Bar Opens in the Old Northeast!
The Blend Coffee and Wine Bar has opened in the Old Northeast neighborhood at 1211 4th Street North. The concept features fresh roasted coffee, local baked goods from Manna Bakery and Bellas (among other concepts), and a host of excellent wines and beers on draft. Follow The Blend on Facebook and Instagram for updates.

The Blend is open from 8AM-8PM Weekdays, and 9AM-9PM Weekends.

You can also visit The Blend at its Downtown location, which is located at 490 1st Avenue South.

Pride Central (June 27)
Wear your Rainbow colors and safely show your Pride up and down Central Avenue! Shop and support St. Pete’s local brick + mortar shops, visit some fun pop-ups and enjoy deals, discounts and drink specials at participating locations. They will also be raising money for local organizations including Pinellas County Urban League and Metro Inclusive Health. Full details on the Facebook Event Page.

Together We Rise Virtual Vigil (June 27) 
Unfurling the 375 foot rainbow flag provided by Come OUT St Pete, two groups of approximately 50 Volunteers will be given a commemorative t-shirt and mask to assist with the unfurling. There will also be an approximate nine-minute kneeling and moment of silence for George Floyd of Minneapolis, Tony McDade of Tallahassee, Rayshard Brooks of Atlanta, Dominique “Rem’mie” Fells of Philadelphia, and Riah Milton of Liberty Township, followed by a candlelight vigil. To ensure safety the event will be focused on media, social media exposure, including pictures and video, not spectators. 8-9am. Click HERE to volunteer. Takes place at 600 Bayshore Drive Northeast

Girls Rock’n Run for Justice (June 27)
Hit the pavement in the name of empowering brown and black girls* in your neighborhood and throughout the world. Social justice is a pillar of the Girls Rock mission, so let’s show up for all girls and women of color facing racial and gender discrimination. 50% of proceeds benefit the Tampa Bay Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women supporting women of African descent to gain social, political, and economic equity and 50% benefits Girls Rock St. Pete, whose mission is to amplify the voices of girls and women to create change. Juneteenth Celebration and Protest Launch at Williams Park
Join the community at Williams park for a Juneteenth celebration! There will be live music and food provided by locally run black-owned businesses! Hang out and listen to speakers, grab a bite to eat and mingle with the community. 2-7pm. Williams Park, 350 2nd Avenue North.

Black-owned Business Juneteenth Celebration
A true rebirth of Juneteenth celebration of Black Business and celebrating community. 100. Vendors showing Black Business Excellence and Census and Voter registration drives on this Solidarity holiday. Noon-7pm. 2810 34th Street South.

St. Pete Peaceful Protests at City Hall 
Peaceful protests continue to happen daily in St. Petersburg. Protesters gather at St. Pete City Hall at 2pm and 6:30pm. Follow St. Pete Peace Protests on Facebook for updates.

Studio@620 Sweet 16 Celebration (June 20) 
The Studio@620 is celebrating 16 years this June 20! The brainchild of G. David Ellis and Bob Devin Jones continues to play a vital role in our community during these unprecedented times! To celebrate, The Studio@620 will present a public kiting demonstration in Lassing Park. 6:20pm. Lassing Park, 2042 Beach Drive SE. Full details on Studio@620’s website.

The Studio@620 presents KITE 2020, an exhibit inspired by kites. A kite seems to live at the edge of a dream. There is a bit of magic in this connection between sky and earth. That magic is experienced through kiting. Full details about the exhibit can be viewed online.

Yoga Poolside at The Hollander Hotel with The Body Electric 
The Body Electric is BACK at Hollander Hotel Downtown St Petersburg every Saturday morning starting June 6! Flow starts at 8:30am and preregistration is encouraged as capacity for these classes are capped at 24 lucky yogis for the foreseeable future. 8:30am-9:30am. Amanda Riker will kick off the season, and then a fab rotation of Gracie Mayer, Lindsay Dixon, and Allison Moonbeam Archer will continue all summer. Class is $15/advance and $5/advance for BE Unlimited members. It’s $20 at the door, but doubtful there will be walk-up spots.  The Hollander Hotel, 421 4th Avenue North.

CrossFit 727 Reopens in St. Petersburg

Abercrombie Park Expansion Ribbon Cutting
The newly expanded Abercrombie Park will provide St. Petersburg residents and visitors with walking trails, a boardwalk, picnic areas, and educational signage about the Native American shell mound. The shell mound is considered to be part of the larger Bayshore Home Site Complex, a pre-Columbian village occupied by Native Americans between AD 140 and 565, during the early Weeden Island period. Begins at 9:30am. Tune into St. Pete, FL’s Facebook to watch it live.

Dance in the Time of Coronavirus: Episode 2
Dance in the Time of Coronavirus a series of socially distanced dance performances

EPISODE #2: REVERBERATION, NIGHT-LIGHT, choreographed by Andee Scott for an audience of cars, wheels, bicycles, and pedestrians.

This version of REVERBERATION is designed for a moving audience – please drive by, ride by, wheel by, or walk by to experience and enjoy a socially distanced dance performance. Dancers will be lined up 20 feet apart, along the sidewalk. The audience will “enter” the piece on 1st. Ave S at 16th Street S, either on bicycles in the bike lane or in cars, and watch the dance unfold along as they pass by. Runs continuously from 8:30-9:30pm.
