One of St. Pete’s biggest markets is doing the same thing we do every summer: moving inside. Indie Flea announced that it is hosting three markets at the St. Petersburg Coliseum this summer, returning to the air-conditioned haven it debuted in last year.

The pop-up shopping experience will bring more than 100 of Tampa Bay’s top vendors to the historic Coliseum (535 5th Ave. N.) for three special summer markets on Sunday, June 14; Sunday, July 12; and Sunday, August 9. As always, Indie Flea is completely free to attend and is open to all ages.

Festivities run from 12-4 pm at each market, where attendees can expect a wide variety of handcrafted goods, vintage treasures, local art, handmade jewelry, delicious bites and more. The event is family-friendly and open to all.

Indie Flea has seen waves of new visitors this spring after moving to a new downtown location, outdoors in the streets next to City Hall and Mirror Lake. The sprawling location has made it feel more like a festival than a market, much to our personal delight. Their return to the Coliseum for the winter months is just steps away from the spring location, and we expect the great energy and vibes to continue, this time with a break from the sun.

Each year, Indie Flea supports hundreds of the best local artists, bakers, chefs and creative curators in the Tampa Bay region. The popular market has even expanded with a Tampa event, as it has become a stalwart on both sides of the bridge.

Businesses interested in sponsoring Indie Flea’s events and supporting community-driven and eco-conscious initiatives can email: sponsor@theindieflea.com. Vendors interested in applying for future Indie Flea Markets can find more information and submit an application here.
