It’s an exciting time in the Grand Central District. A new shop located on the same block as beloved staples Mane Stay Hair Studio, Central Cycling and Love Food Central announced plans to open in November 2020. Billed as an inclusive boutique and bar, Sip Shop Hooray will celebrate diversity through fashion, curated beverages, and inspired music.
Amber Clayton, President of Central Cycling, made the announcement on Instagram on July 27. “Beyond excited to begin this second venture right next door to our first home Central Cycling and expanding our love for the Grand Central district of St. Pete,” Clayton wrote.

Local muralists will likely be commissioned to deck out the interiors.
“We’re trying to keep everything as local as possible,” Clayton wrote in a DM to I Love the Burg.

There will be clothes for all body types, Clayton notes. Books celebrating music, the Black Lives Matter movement, Trans rights, and more will also be on the shelves.
Sip Shop Hooray will take over the space at 2053 Central Avenue. Follow the concept on Instagram for updates.
