Hannah’s Homeless will host its final Christmas in the Park event at Williams Park (350 2nd Ave N) on December 22 at 1:00 p.m. The community is invited to join in the event and help make this last event memorable. Donations will be accepted starting at 12:30 p.m. to allow time for setup before the event kicks off.
The group is seeking a variety of donations to help those in need. Items needed include trial-size hygiene products, pop-top cans of ready-to-eat food (such as soups and raviolis), fruit cups, granola bars, and similar non-perishable items. Additionally, there is a great need for men’s clothing, backpacks, socks, shoes, belts, and other accessories.

Volunteers are also essential for the success of the event. Hannah’s Homeless will provide hot pizza, soda, and water to attendees, so donations of paper plates, as well as a large cooler with bags of ice, are also appreciated.
This tradition began informally in 2006 and became an official event in 2012. After nearly 18 years of service, this will be the final Christmas in the Park, making this year’s celebration particularly special. Organizers are hoping to go out with a bang and make this event unforgettable.
The community is encouraged to come together, share the spirit of giving, and help make this event the feel-good highlight of the year. Follow Hannah’s Homeless on Facebook for updates.
