The original date for the Good Burger Awards of November 14 was rained out. The new date is Tuesday, December 12.

No matter what your dining preferences, this is one burger that everyone in town can agree on. The 11th Annual Good ‘Burger Awards Presented by the Bank of Tampa and Compass Land & Title are back for 2023, celebrating all the best people and businesses helping to make St. Pete so great. Voting has officially closed (though you can still peruse finalists in each category) ahead of the big party at Coastal Creative on Tuesday, December 14 at 4 pm, a join celebration with St. Pete Pitch Night.

Tickets are available now for the celebration, which includes live entertainment, great food and drink, networking galore, and a high-energy atmosphere showcasing all the best things about St. Pete. General Admission tickets are $45, and VIP are $90, which include access to VIP Reception held prior to Good ‘Burger Awards and access to the VIP balcony throughout the event with light bites and an open bar.

The annual extravaganza, hosted by the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce, is a two-fold event for the city, consisting of the voting portion first (which concluded October 24), and followed by the awards gala. Presented by the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce in honor of a former mayor who referred to his citizens as “burgers,” the Good ‘Burger Awards were established to honor any St. Pete business/individual/organization (not just Chamber members) who contribute in a positive way to make our community special.

Award categories include Eats and Treats, Arts and Culture, Community Conscious Businesses, Makers and Creators, and New Biz on the Block, among others. The marquee awards are The Sunshine Award, which honors those who serve as champions for positive change, and the MVB (Most Valuable ‘Burger), awarded to an individual who is personally making a positive impact in our community.

The awards ceremony is one of St. Pete’s biggest annual parties, a full-on gala complete with live performances, giveaways, and tons of great food and drink from some of the Burg’s best restaurant bars, breweries, and more. Tickets for the event are available online now.
