America’s greenest airline is coming to St. Pete’s Green Bench. Frontier Airlines is hosting an aviation-themed party at Green Bench Brewing Company, complete with tons of free flight giveaways, and 100 free beers to boot.
The free flight giveaway and game night is taking place Thursday, September 29, from 6-9 pm at Green Bench. Frontier is advertising the giveaway of 500 free flights on its many routes across the country, and the airline is also giving a free beer (or wine) to the first 100 people to register on-site.
As part of the festivities, Green Bench is hosting Frontier-themed games and competitions, including games like Plane Tail Match and aviation trivia. The activation is part of Frontier’s Tampa Celebrations, as the Frontier team is raising awareness of their “low fares done right” out of Tampa International Airport, which was just named America’s No. 1 large airport. The airline is hosting a similar event in Tampa at Ybor City’s Zydeco Brew Werks.
Frontier’s destinations from Tampa include cities such Las Vegas, Denver, Chicago, Atlanta, San Juan and Cancun, among many more (all currently available for under $70 one way). Dubbed America’s greenest airline, Frontier boasts that it uses 43% less fuel than other U.S. airlines.
Green Bench Brewing was St. Pete’s first craft brewery, opened in 2013, now home to one of Tampa Bay’s most popular beer gardens. As it has grown in the EDGE District, Green Bench has attracted even more praise thanks to the addition of Webb’s City Cellar with its barrel-aging program and stellar choice of bottles and sours.
The Frontier flight giveaway and game night begins at 6 pm at Green Bench on September 29, and participation in games is not guaranteed. We recommend arriving early, as registration is in-person only. Plus, if you’re one of the first 100 there, you get a free drink from Green Bench on Frontier. Learn more on the event page here.
