The Edwards Group and The Kolter Group LLC announced development plans for a key St. Pete block bordered by Central Ave and 1st Ave. N., and 1st and 2nd Streets.

Plans call for a mixed use project, including a residential condominium, hotel, retail and parking. Kolter will close on the acquisition of the block from an Edwards Group affiliate next month and will develop the two-tower complex. The project is expected to break ground in the first quarter of 2015 and be completed by the end of 2017.
