The Eckerd College SAR Marine Yard Sale comes but once a year, and it’s an occasion you do not want to miss. The annual event will take place on Saturday, March 16 from 9am-noon. In past years, kayaks, paddle boards, sailboats, and powerboats have been up for sale.
Proceeds from the yard sale fund Eckerd’s student-volunteer maritime search and rescue team. Electronic equipment and motors will also be available for purchase. Hundreds of secondhand offerings will be on sale courtesy of both students and alumni at Eckerd.

Marine Yard Sale features unique boats for sale
The event is free and open to the public. Eckerd College is located at 4200 54th Avenue South. Organizers expect crowds in the thousands and early birds lined up before gates open to snag great deals. Items available for purchase are new and used.

All EC-SAR team members receive extensive training in basic radio communication skills, seamanship, technical rescue, emergency medicine and navigation.
