Chef of the newly opened Eat Art Love in St. Pete will make his Food Network debut on Chopped

St. Pete’s culinary scene will be in the spotlight this May. Chef Mario Brugnoli of Eat Art Love in St. Pete competed on Food Network’s mega popular cooking competition Chopped. The episode featuring Brugnoli will air on May 14.at 8pm.

If you’ve never scene this show before, here’s a brief description from the network: Four chefs call on their culinary skills as they face off against one another to prepare a spectacular three-course meal consisting of an appetizer, entree and dessert. The catch? In each round, they have to use all the ingredients the show provides them, however unlikely they might be.

A new modern cafe in the Arts District

Eat Art Love is described as a modern cafe located at 589 22nd Street South. Its menu includes a tasty broccoli salad, a sweet and sour pancake with pineapple, cinnamon and blueberry syrup, confit duck leg, poached egg dip, and a fried chicken sandwich. It’s eclectic to say the least, which is why it pays to follow the restaurant on Instagram.

The restaurant temporarily closed for the birth of Chef’s son. Eat Art Love will reopen for regular business on May 10.
