Downtown St. Pete is getting a new pasta spot this spring. Dalmoro’s Fresh Italian (formerly known as Dalmoro’s Fresh Pasta To-Go) is returning to St. Pete, opening on the Jannus Block at 204 1st Ave N, in the space most recently home to Moon Mountain.
The fast-casual Italian concept originally opened on the 600 Block of Central Avenue, and has re-emerged with a new name and slightly tweaked concept. The core of the enterprise is still the fresh pasta, made on-site in front of customers. Now, Dalmoro’s will also have an emphasis on sandwiches, salads, and a variety of casual Italian fare. They will also still offer to-go pasta, but the new experience offers more opportunity to stay and enjoy the food on site.

More additions include garlic breadsticks, meatballs, and homemade tiramisu. Dalmoros has also introduced an expanded offering of sauces for the fresh pasta. The restaurant will also have beer and wine. The special panino menu will offer hot sandwiches with traditional Italian meats and cheeses, “but with a Dalmoros twist.”
“We’re back and better than ever, with a fresh new look, while preserving the same family‑friendly Italian experience our guests have always loved,” said founder David Caruso. “Our new St. Pete location reflects how much we’ve grown in this community—with a larger footprint and a prime location near Jannus Live, we’re able to welcome even more guests as we continue to expand. It’s also especially meaningful because St. Pete is home to me and my growing family.”
Dalmoro’s is hosting a grand opening celebration on May 1 with a special “Pasta Cutting” at 12 pm, followed by the official opening. The first 100 customers receive a free pasta card to use on their next visit. They will also have giveaways of complimentary tiramisu and bagged fresh pasta, plus an appearance by special guest “Tony Rigatoni.”
This is Dalmoro’s seventh location, with several more in the works. It will be open Sunday-Thursday from 11 am – 9 pm, and Friday-Saturday from 11 am -2:30 am.
