Cider Press Vegan Gastropub is one of the most anticipated new restaurants in St. Pete. Loyal diners have been eagerly awaiting the restaurant’s return since it left its 600 Block of Central Avenue location. The owners have tantalized local diners with test kitchen teasers for months, and now it’s finally to serve St. Pete again. Cider Press Vegan Gastropub will host its soft opening at 3118 3rd Ave N next week beginning November 9: Wed-Thu 5pm-9pm, Friday 5pm-10pm, Saturday 12pm-10pm, Sunday 12pm-4pm.
Co-owners Johan Everstijn and Roland Strobel have meticulously crafted this new space in Historic Kenwood alongside prolific designer David Fischer (owner of Zazoo’d, The Saint, Cocktail, The Wet Spot).

Diners should prepare themselves for an English-forward menu. Everstijn has consulted friends, and worked tirelessly in the kitchen to provide something new and fresh for even the most ardent and regular Cider Press patrons.
The Cider Press team has teased dishes such as Fried Jambalaya Balls, Cheeseburger Rolls, Shrimp Étouffée, New Orleans Style Shrimp Po’boys, and Mexican Street Corn. All of these dishes are of course crafted with a fantastic vegan twist.
Guests will be totally transfixed by the 2,275-square-foot restaurant beautifully decorated and designed by David Fischer. The space could also host live entertainment in the coming months. Diners can also take advantage of the 400-square-foot patio in the plaza.
