Cheers to the Pier: Future of Burg’s Waterfront on Display at Local Breweries

Cheers to the Pier: Future of Burg’s Waterfront on Display at Local Breweries

A new pier is imminent in the Burg. The city broke ground on the site in late June. Final renderings reveal space for concerts, markets, restaurants, fishing and more. To help better inform residents about the construction timeline and planned amenities at the concept, the City has partnered with local breweries for Pier Beer nights.

The evenings will give those interested the opportunity to meet with the design team behind the new Pier. Events will take place over the course of 7 weeks and will hit all 7 local breweries for a night celebrating the future of the Sunshine City and our emerging craft beer scene.

The first two events were held at 3 Daughters Brewing and Green Bench Brewing respectively. Visitors enjoyed libations from Pier cups decorated with renderings that showcase the potential of St. Pete’s waterfront area.

Pier Beer Nights take place from 5:30-7pm and are free to attend. Pier information, images and updates will be up at the selected breweries the entire week after the event takes place.
