Tucked in a Pinellas Park strip mall, Campanella’s at 7420 49th St. N. is a hidden gem that loyal fans might want to keep to themselves. From pizza to pasta, every dish shines, earning the restaurant a stellar 5-star rating on Tripadvisor.

At any pizza spot, the basics reveal the real quality, so I started with a classic: Campanella’s Margherita pizza. This pie hits every mark, featuring a perfectly thin crust with the ideal crunch, subtle char, and just the right amount of bubbling. It’s honest, no-frills pizza done right. For an extra carb boost, the garlic knots come highly recommended.

The cannolis are on point

While known for its pizza, Campanella’s is a full restaurant serving a variety of pastas, subs, salads, and desserts. Check out their full menu here.

If you have room for dessert, the cannolis are a must-try, featuring crispy, deep-fried shells filled with creamy ricotta and drizzled with chocolate. Another standout is the Tiramisu—a decadent slice layered with coffee-soaked ladyfingers, whipped eggs, sugar, mascarpone cheese, and a dusting of cocoa.

Though I often grab my pizza to go, Campanella’s welcoming, modern ambiance makes dining in worthwhile. Mossy green accents around the bar complement the white walls, giving the space a fresh, updated feel. This is a spot you’ll want to sit down and savor.
