One is a brand new seafood concept from restaurateurs with a long local history of savory success, and another the latest in a series of exceptional openings in the MLK Business District.

Alto Mare Fish Bar
The minds behind the popular and praised Annata Wine Bar are bringing something new to Beach Drive. The restaurant called Alto Mare Fish Bar will open just next door to the wine bar at 300 Beach Drive Northeast.
The restaurant serving a litany of fresh fish, oysters, shrimp, caviar and mountains of yummy shaved ice should be open by late January/early February. You can follow their progress on Facebook.

Pineapple Espresso rethinks fast-food
This Burg-born business is bringing small batch coffee in a drive-thru format to 3045 Dr Martin Luther King Jr Street North.
Coffee’s not the only thing on the menu. The owners have already teased the addition of some delicious looking everything toast: 9 grain toast, topped with their 6 minute egg, finished with house everything seasoning.
