The Tampa Bay Lightning will present Bolts Hockey Fest on April 16 in Albert Whitted Park this Saturday. Join the Tampa Bay Lightning for a day full of ball hockey tournaments and family fun. With food, drinks, and Lightning personalities in attendance, there is sure to be something for everyone in the family, wrote the Lightning organization on the official event page.

Activities get underway at 8 am and culminate with a Lightning watch party in the evening. The tournament will feature ball and roller hockey games played on 50 percent to scale NHL-sized rinks with boards, netting and referees. Registration for the tournament officially closed on April 10, but you can still get out and enjoy the festivities in downtown St. Pete. The next best thing to caching The Lightning in Amalie Arena is witnessing some high octane roller hockey.

After the tournaments wrap up, stick around for a watch party to check out the Lightning taking on the Jets at 7pm Special appearance by ThunderBug, Lightning prizes, food trucks and more! The event is presented by Lightning Made Hockey Program.

The Lightning Made Training Center sponsored by Pepsi Zero Sugar is a multi-sport facility operated by the Tampa Bay Lightning. At the Training Center, Lightning alumni and staff run several different sports programs such as ball hockey, pickleball, and off-ice training.
