Ben Bailey, the beloved host of Cash Cab, is bringing his standup comedy special to the Burg for one night only, hosted at Coastal Creative on Friday, December 8. While its the quiz-game TV show that launched bailey to stardom, standup comedy has been his passion (and talent) for the entirety of his adult life. Long before he got behind the wheel of The Cash Cab, Bailey left his home in a small town in New Jersey and headed to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of a career in show business. Six weeks later, he found himself onstage at The Comedy Store on the Sunset Strip. He got a laugh with the first thing he said and knew right away that he had found his calling.

Shortly thereafter Bailey returned to the East Coast and started hanging out at the comedy Clubs in New York City, where he quickly became a crowd favorite. He has since performed at all the major festivals including Montreal and Chicago(Just For Laughs), the (hallowed & former) Aspen Comedy Arts Festival, The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and at clubs and theaters around the world.

He has starred in 2 specials for Comedy Central, and his most recent special, “Road Rage and Accidental Ornithology,” has been a huge hit on Netflix for the last few years. He also has a new special due out in the Spring.
